As the Senior Project Officer, you will support the delivery of grant programs from end to end, ensuring strong governance, effective administration and positive outcomes for stakeholders. You will work closely with internal teams and grant recipients to manage funding processes, reporting requirements and program performance activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the administration and delivery of all stages of grant programs.
- Coordinating administrative activities required to launch funding rounds.
- Receiving and assessing funding applications.
- Preparing and managing grant agreements with successful applicants.
- Providing advice and support to grant recipients throughout project delivery.
- Coordinating grant reporting, monitoring and acquittal processes.
- Responding to requests for information regarding grant funding and program activities.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and promoting best-practice grants administration.
- Supporting a workplace culture that values safety, inclusion, respect and diversity, and contributes to positive outcomes for First Nations people.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience, or the ability to quickly acquire expertise, in monitoring, evaluation, reporting and continuous improvement systems, particularly within grant programs or portfolios.
- Strong skills in developing and maintaining tools, processes and systems that support effective reporting, communication and program performance monitoring.
- Experience coordinating or managing project and grant performance reporting, including collecting, validating and analysing performance data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare accurate, concise and professional documentation, including grant agreements and reports.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities.
- The ability to work effectively within a team while managing priorities in a fastpaced and changing environment.
- A commitment to workplace safety, equity, diversity, inclusion and respect.
