We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience providing high-quality, person-centred support and be committed to promoting participant choice, independence, and dignity.
Essential Experience and Skills:
- Experience providing personal care support while maintaining participant dignity and privacy.
- Experience supporting participants with community access, including social outings, appointments, shopping, and recreational activities.
- Experience managing and responding to Behaviours of Concern (BOC) using positive behaviour support strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently while following care plans and organisational policies.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and daily living support.
- Assist participants to engage safely and meaningfully in their community.
- Support participants in achieving their goals and increasing independence.
- Implement behaviour support strategies and maintain accurate incident documentation when required.
- Maintain professional communication with participants, families, coordinators, and other stakeholders.
- Promote participant rights, dignity, and choice at all times.
Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Required)
