Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.
Nepean Hospital is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and team‑focused Enrolled Nurse to join our Short Stay - Surgical Ward. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high‑quality patient care within a dynamic surgical environment that encourages professional growth and values collaborative practice.
As an Enrolled Nurse in the Short Stay Surgical Ward, you will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centred Nursing care. You’ll support patients undergoing short-stay surgical procedures, assist the Multidisciplinary team, and ensure a positive and comfortable experience for individuals during their recovery. This role will see you provide high-quality Nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will actively contribute to patient care by accurately collecting and documenting health information, maintaining clear and timely records, and supporting effective clinical decision‑making. You will communicate confidently and professionally with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members, fostering collaboration and continuity of care. Your ability to follow protocols while demonstrating empathy and attention to detail will make you an essential part of the healthcare team.
We offer to you a supportive and experienced leadership team, opportunities for ongoing education and professional growth and a friendly, diverse, and collaborative workplace.
