The Opportunity
Sands Fridge Lines is seeking a motivated and experienced Shunt Truck Driver to join our Transport team at our Forrestfield depot. This role is essential to the efficient day-to-day operations of our transport yard, focusing on the safe and accurate movement of trailers within the depot.
Key responsibilities include trailer shunting to and from dock areas, positioning trailers for loading and unloading, and assisting with the preparation of road train configurations for linehaul departures. Occasional Perth metropolitan HC pick-up and delivery (PUD) work may also be required.

Key Responsibilities

Safely couple and uncouple trailer combinations

Accurately position and reverse trailers onto loading docks

Move trailers within yard and designated parking areas

Set up road train configurations for departing linehaul services

Undertake Perth metro HC pick-up and delivery operations as required
Skills & Experience

Current unrestricted HC licence
-
Proven experience operating in a confined yard or depot environment

Strong trailer reversing skills, including docks and dollies

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

High level of reliability, punctuality, and work ethic

Adaptability to a fast-paced operational environment

Valid full-time work rights in Australia
