You’re someone who wants to create outcomes that have a real impact on the people of NSW.
You're all about the detail and this role will allow you to drive evidence-based decision making to optimise systems and efficiency, not just for the business but for our customers too. It's data and research with impact you can see.
In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering evaluation frameworks, performance measurement, benefits realisation, and evidence-based insights that assess the effectiveness and outcomes of Transport for NSW programs, policies and initiatives.
This role will see you design, implement and manage evaluation frameworks, lead evaluation projects, analyse data, translate findings into clear insights, and build organisational capability in evaluation, with opportunities to strengthen analytical expertise, work collaboratively across divisions, and contribute to continuous improvement and customer-focused outcomes.
You will lead new ways of embedding evaluation principles and evidence-based practice in a complex environment requiring collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, clear communication of complex information, and the ability to balance competing priorities.
This is a permanent, statewide role that can be based from any Transport for NSW office. TfNSW employees are required to work a minimum of 50% of their time from an approved Transport workplace, including at least 5 days per month at their designated home office.

You’re recognized as an adept communicator and collaborative partner, skilled at designing evaluation frameworks and translating insights into actionable findings, experienced in quantitative and qualitative analysis, benefits realisation, capability building, and preparing high‑quality reports for diverse audiences.
