Role purpose:
To prepare vehicles and carry out spray painting work to a high standard, helping deliver quality smash repairs, clean finishes, and on-time job completion.
Key duties:
- Sand, fill, mask, clean, and prep panels for painting.
- Mix paint, match colours, and prepare materials for refinishing.
- Apply primers, basecoat, clearcoat, and other coatings.
- Assist with detailing, polishing, and final finish work.
- Maintain spray guns, tools, booth area, and workplace cleanliness.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and workshop standards.
Work with panel beaters, estimators, and other team members to keep jobs moving.
Pay: $56,904.08 – $100,102.47 per year
Experience:
- prep, masking, sanding, colour matching, and refinishing: 1 year (Preferred)
