About the role
You'll be the face of our shop, greeting customers, taking orders and serving authentic Greek food and coffee in a fast-paced environment. We're after someone reliable and welcoming who can hit the ground running and help keep service running smoothly from open through to close.
What you'll be doing
Greeting customers and providing friendly, efficient service
Taking orders accurately, both in person and over the phone
Operating the register and POS and handling payments
Serving food and coffee to our standards
Keeping the front counter, dining area and service areas clean and tidy at all times
Following all food hygiene and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) requirements
Working closely with the kitchen and the rest of the team during busy periods
Handling end-of-day closing duties, including cleaning down the front of house and restaurant
What we're looking for
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality
Confident, clear communication and a friendly manner with customers
Good attention to detail when taking orders and handling payments
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure
Available for closing shifts
Well-presented and professional
Nice to have but not mandatory
A current Food Handling and Food Safety certificate
Barista or coffee-making experience
Familiarity with Greek cuisine

Pay: $18.00 – $40.00 per hour
