Aussie Rock Plasters Pty Ltd is looking for a motivated and reliable Wall & Ceiling Lining Apprentice to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start or continue their career in the wall and ceiling lining industry while gaining valuable hands-on experience on real construction projects.
We are happy to consider applicants who are currently studying Wall & Ceiling Lining/Plastering, looking to commence an apprenticeship, or seeking an employer to support their apprenticeship.
What You'll Be Doing
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will learn and assist with a range of wall and ceiling lining activities, including:
- Installing plasterboard and wall and ceiling linings
- Measuring, cutting and preparing materials
- Setting, jointing and finishing plasterboard
- Assisting with plastering and finishing work
- Preparing work areas and materials
- Maintaining a clean and safe worksite
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Learning correct tools, techniques and construction practices
- Working as part of a professional construction team
Full training and on-the-job guidance will be provided to the right candidate.
