- Monthly RDOs giving you an extra 12 days of leave per year
- 24/7 wellbeing support through the Sonder app + employee recognition programs
- Flexible permanent full-time or part-time opportunity based in Melbourne
Independence isn't given back all at once. It's rebuilt one session, one small win, one safer step at a time — and that's the work you'd be doing.
As a Physiotherapist with Kanda in Melbourne, you'll support clients in their own homes and communities to move better, do more for themselves, and get back to the life they want. It's community-based, it's hands-on, and the progress you create shows up in real moments — someone walking to their letterbox again, someone getting in and out of bed without help.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting client assessments and building rehabilitation and therapy programs around what actually matters to them
- Helping clients improve movement, function and independence with the everyday tasks that make up a normal life
- Carrying out home safety assessments and recommending assistive equipment where it'll make a real difference
- Educating clients, carers and staff on mobility support and equipment use, so progress doesn't stop when you walk out the door
- Developing and reviewing care plans that evolve as your clients do
- Working alongside internal teams and external healthcare providers to keep care connected, not siloed
- Keeping documentation accurate and supporting service coordination along the way
You're the right person if...
- You hold current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
- You have a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent qualification
- You communicate well and bring genuine warmth to every client interaction
- You're reliable and accountable, with person-centred care second nature to you
- You're driven to keep learning and growing professionally
Why you'll love working at Kanda
- Monthly RDO for full-time employees - an extra 12 days of leave per year
- Genuine flexibility on hours — whether that's part-time (0.6-0.8 FTE) or full-time
- Wellness initiatives plus 24/7 access to the Sonder wellbeing app
- Access to an employee rewards hub providing savings and cashback across everyday purchases
- Employee recognition initiatives, including gift vouchers for Employee of the Month and service anniversaries
- Enjoy free Orbit World Travel Club membership - $100 travel voucher, exclusive offers, and dedicated support
- Genuine long-term career opportunities as Kanda continues to grow
