An exciting opportunity is available for a part-time Pharmacy Student at Northern Private Hospital.
The Pharmacy Student supports the Pharmacy team in providing safe, efficient and customer-focused pharmacy services while gaining valuable practical experience and developing professional pharmacy skills under the supervision of a qualified pharmacist.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include:

Assist pharmacists and pharmacy staff with day-to-day pharmacy operations.

Provide friendly and professional customer service.

Assist with dispensing activities under the supervision and direction of a pharmacist.
-
Support the preparation, packaging and labelling of medications as directed.
-
Assist customers with general enquiries and refer clinical or medication-related questions to the pharmacist.

Maintain accurate and organised pharmacy records and documentation.

Assist with stock management, including receiving, checking, rotating and replenishing stock
About You:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Pharmacy (only 2nd or 3rd year students)

Experience working in a retail pharmacy is essential

Availability to work flexible shifts (including weekends if required)

Demonstrated interest in developing a career in pharmacy.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Professional, reliable and responsible approach to work.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate appropriate professional conduct.
