We are seeking an experienced and reliable Disability Support Worker to join our team supporting a male NDIS participant with complex care needs.
Please note: Availability on both Mondays and Wednesdays is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Shifts are between 8am and 6pm, occasionally finishing at 9pm. This is an ongoing, long-term role.

About the Role
This is a 2:1 support role, meaning you will be working alongside another support worker. The participant is fully dependent and requires high intensity daily supports.
Duties include:
- Personal care, including showering and dressing
- Feeding, including PEG feeding
- Continence care
- Complex bowel care
- Manual handling and transfers
- Supporting the participant in accordance with their care plans and clinical protocols
- Working collaboratively with another support worker to provide safe, high-quality care
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Manual Handling Training
- Infection Prevention and Control Certificate
- Full Australian working rights
- ABN
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work professionally within the participant's home
- The ability to work effectively as part of a two-person support team
- Previous experience supporting participants with high intensity support needs
- Experience with PEG feeding and complex bowel care
- Fluency in spoken Arabic is required
