We're looking for an inspiring and commercially driven Store Business Manager to lead our flagship Westfield Chatswood store. About the Role
As Store Business Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall success of the store by leading your team to deliver outstanding commercial results and an exceptional customer experience. You'll coach, mentor and inspire your team while ensuring operational excellence and maintaining the premium standards MJ Bale is known for.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with your Regional Manager to drive sales growth, strengthen team capability and build lasting relationships with customers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing retail team.
- Drive sales, profitability and key performance indicators.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personalised styling and client engagement.
- Recruit, onboard and develop talented team members.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and high-performance culture.
- Manage store operations including rostering, payroll, stock control and visual merchandising.
- Analyse sales performance and implement strategies to maximise commercial outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Partner with your Regional Manager to execute business initiatives and achieve strategic objectives.

You'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience as a Store Manager, Store Business Manager or Senior Retail Leader.
- Proven ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing teams.
- Excellent commercial acumen with confidence analysing sales performance and identifying opportunities.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- A customer-first mindset with a passion for premium retail and styling.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, positive and solutions-focused attitude.
Experience within premium fashion, luxury retail or customer-focused environments will be highly regarded.
