- Casual Role: DIDO outage, located at Kogan Creek Power Station in Brigalow, QLD, with potential for other project/outage work.
- Project Dates: Start date from early July, running approximately until September.
- Roster: Monday to Saturday, Days/Nights, 11-hour shifts.
- Competitive Rate: $103.50 per hour
- Other Benefits: Join a supportive team delivering Downers Kogan Creek outage. LAHA or Accommodation is provided to distant workers.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Downer's Energy & Utilities business is seeking casual Welders Supervisors to provide outage services at Kogan Creek Power Station in Brigalow, QLD. Starting in early July , Downer will offer mechanical and project services throughout the outage period. As a Welder Supervisor, you will oversee all welding activities during a power station outage, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with approved procedures and quality standards. This role involves supervising welding crews, coordinating with multiple disciplines, managing inspection and compliance requirements, and driving progress to meet critical outage deadlines.
ABOUT YOU
Site Proficient: Experienced in overseeing outage welding work within the power generation and heavy industry sectors.
Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
Workplace Safety: Committed to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
Qualifications: Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E), Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 2 years), Construction white card
Trade certificate : All Welding and supervisor qualifications will be required
