Your New Role
The Scripted Producer supports the delivery of Warner Bros. Australia’s scripted slate by overseeing the operational, financial and production processes across development and production projects.
Working closely with and under the direction of the Head of Scripted, the role ensures that projects are delivered efficiently, within approved creative, financial and scheduling parameters.
The Scripted Producer partners with the Production Team on budgets, schedules, cost reporting and agreements, and works closely with the Company’s legal, business and finance teams to ensure each scripted project complies with Company policies, contractual requirements and production best practice.
Position Responsibilities:
Project Identification and Development
Strategic Partnerships and Funding
Oversee post‑production from a workflow, scheduling and delivery perspective, ensuring milestones, approvals and deliverables are met, with creative oversight retained by the Head of Scripted.
Manage production deliverables to broadcasters, distributors, funding bodies and equity partners, ensuring all technical, contractual and delivery requirements are satisfied.
Problem Solving and Relationship Building
Support the identification and resolution of operational issues arising during production, including scheduling, technical or delivery challenges, escalating creative matters to the Head of Scripted as required.
In consultation with the Production Team, ensure HR, OHS, legal and compliance matters are identified and resolved promptly via the appropriate Company departments.
Maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with heads of department, production teams, broadcasters, funding bodies and industry partners to support smooth production delivery.
Additional Responsibilities
Strong relationships across the Australian scripted television industry, including broadcasters, funding bodies, talent agencies, cast and crew.
