We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Production Worker to become part of our growing team! As a Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, contributing to the production line, and helping to maintain our standard of excellence.
You will be involved in various tasks, from operating machinery to batching and chemical handling and ensuring quality control.
We work with raw seafood - applicant must be comfortable with the seafood smell
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift machinery and equipment according to safety guidelines
- Loading fish bones onto trays and pushing into dryer
- Operating Pin Mill - hand loading dry bones into mill and ensuring smooth operation
- Cleaning work - shovelling, pressure washing, sweeping, cleaning
- Conduct quality control checks for in process and finished goods
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
Required Shifts
Typical work hours 8:00am - 4:00pm
Saturday Work - Optional
Typical tasks:
- 8:00am - 9:00am - manually emptying trays into nally bins
- 9am - 11am - shovelling and loading trays into dryer
- 11am - 4:00pm - operating and supervising milling machine
Requirements
- Forklift Licence (mandatory)
- Manual work - ability to shovel fish bones
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and practices
Pay: $32.00 per hour
