About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Infrastructure Delivery Lead to drive the design, prioritisation, and delivery of infrastructure initiatives across our global business. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role is responsible for leading infrastructure projects, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring the ongoing reliability, security, and scalability of our technology environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical leader who enjoys balancing strategic project delivery with hands-on infrastructure expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership & Delivery: Design, scope, prioritise, and lead infrastructure projects from concept through to successful implementation.
- Infrastructure Operations: Provide hands-on support for infrastructure escalations and project activities, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the infrastructure team through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and professional development.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage vendor relationships, contracts, support agreements, and technology evaluations while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Governance & Continuous Improvement: Develop and enforce infrastructure policies and procedures, review technology solutions, and drive lifecycle improvements across the environment.
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology (or related field) with demonstrated experience leading infrastructure projects within a medium to large organisation.
- Strong experience delivering infrastructure initiatives across cloud, networking, systems administration, endpoint management, and disaster recovery environments.
- Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously using Agile, PRINCE2, hybrid, or similar project delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, service providers, and technology procurement processes.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, Intune, infrastructure operations, and enterprise networking concepts.
- An effective people leader with excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive and collaborative professional with excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
