- About the Role
Supported School Transport (SST) provides daily school transport for students with disabilities attending ACT public schools. As an SST Attendant, you play a critical role in ensuring students are safe, supported, and comfortable during their journey.
You will:

support students and the driver while the bus is in transit
-
assist students with safely boarding and exiting the bus
-
provide a clean and safe environment for all passengers and colleagues on board

respond calmly and appropriately in emergencies
-
help create a positive, reassuring environment for all students
This position involves split shifts—Monday to Friday, during morning and afternoon school runs—giving you the middle of the day free and your public holidays guaranteed.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Visa holders are eligible to apply for both permanent and temporary roles. Those with eligible visas may be considered for permanent employment, while individuals with temporary residency or limited-duration visas may be offered permanent employment for the duration of their visas.

Hold a current First Aid Certificate including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or willing to obtain.

Notes: This position will be offered on a casual basis and the full-time salary noted above will be paid pro-rata. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
