An IT Support Specialist helps employees and customers solve computer and technology problems. Their work usually includes:
- Fixing computer, software, and network issues
- Setting up laptops, desktops, and devices
- Helping users with passwords and system access
- Installing and updating software
- Troubleshooting internet and email problems
- Monitoring IT systems and security
- Supporting cloud systems and business applications
- Responding to technical support tickets and calls
