YCX TILING PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team and work across our construction projects in New South Wales (NSW).
This is a full-time position where you will work as part of a professional and supportive construction team across residential and commercial projects.
Position: Carpenter – Full-Time
Salary: A$90,000 – A$98,000 per annum plus superannuation

What We Are Looking For
Applicants should demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant carpentry experience
- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport preferred
- Ability to understand and interpret blueprints, plans and technical drawings
- Good physical fitness and stamina
- High level of accuracy and precision
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and construction plans to accurately measure, cut and assemble materials.
- Build, install, maintain and repair structures including walls, floors, ceilings, stairs, door frames, windows, cabinets and other timber fixtures.
- Construct and install frameworks, formwork and structural components in accordance with project specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other construction materials using hand and power tools.
- Ensure all carpentry work complies with applicable building codes, workplace safety requirements and quality standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools and relevant machinery safely and effectively.
- Calculate materials and labour requirements and assist with preparing work plans.
- Work closely with site supervisors, contractors and other trades to ensure project requirements and specifications are achieved.
- Assist with supervising and coordinating junior carpenters and other site workers when required.
- Check completed work for quality, accuracy and workmanship before final installation or project handover.
- Keep the worksite clean, organised and safe throughout the project.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently to help ensure projects remain on schedule.
