Our Engineering & Services Team is seeking a customer-focused and technically capable Reliability Service Technician to support customers with condition monitoring, corrective maintenance and technical service solutions.
Reporting to the Technical Services Supervisor/Manager, you will help customers improve equipment safety, reliability and efficiency while identifying and documenting measurable operational gains.
Key responsibilities:

Deliver condition monitoring services, including vibration analysis and reporting.

Provide corrective maintenance services, technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

Conduct customer site visits, surveys and technical assessments.

Identify site cost-down and reliability improvement opportunities.

Build strong working relationships with customers, branches, regional sales teams and applications engineers.

Support targeted industry and service initiatives through market, competitor and supplier insights.

Prepare activity reports and maintain accurate time and work records.

Maintain a strong commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental requirements.
About you
To be successful, you will bring:

A formal technical qualification.
-
Experience in a technical service, maintenance or field-based role.
-
Knowledge of bearings, power transmission and/or industrial service environments.
-
Vibration analysis qualifications or experience, highly regarded.
-
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
-
Excellent communication, customer relationship and stakeholder-management skills.
-
The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across sales, engineering, workshop and branch teams.

Sound commercial awareness, planning and time-management skills.
-
The ability and availability to travel around Queensland (and on occasion around Australia)
-
A current valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel, including occasional interstate travel.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Expert Alert and/or IMAS is desirable.
Physical requirements
This is a hands-on, field-based role involving frequent travel to customer sites, standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching and manual handling. You will work across internal and external industrial environments and around operational plant and equipment.
