In this role, you'll:
Provide investment assurance by reviewing regional work programs for structures and operating assets to ensure they represent value-for-money and align with strategic Asset Management Plans
Develop and refine conservation management strategies that align with broader bridge maintenance programs, ensuring that heritage obligations are met without compromising structural safety or heavy vehicle access
Develop and refine procurement strategies for structural works, ensuring commercial arrangements support specialised requirements for both modern heavy infrastructure and delicate heritage restoration
This is a full-time permanent opportunity and is located from any of our state-wide office bases (Grafton, Newcastle, Parkes, Milsons Point, Wollongong or Wagga)

About you
Demonstrated experience in the management of structural maintenance works (bridges/tunnels), with specific expertise in heritage conservation principles and the regulatory approval processes for state-significant infrastructure
Proven ability to manage the delivery of specialised engineering programs, ensuring that complex restoration projects are scoped correctly and delivered in compliance with both modern safety standards and heritage legislation
High-level communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve complex interface issues between strategic planning teams and regional delivery partners to ensure statewide consistency
Hold a four-year Engineering (Civil or Structural) degree from an Australian University or an equivalent overseas qualification recognised under the Washington Accord. Alternatively, relevant tertiary qualifications in a related technical discipline combined with significant industry experience
Hold a current and valid Australian motor vehicle driver licence
