Australis Institute of Technology and Education (AITE) is a CRICOS Registered Training Organisation (RTO Code: 03173K) established in 2010. We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Lead Conversion Specialist to join our growing team.
The Lead Conversion Specialist is responsible for converting domestic student enquiries into successful enrolments by providing professional guidance and support throughout the student journey. This role requires strong communication skills, sales confidence, relationship management, and attention to detail.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Management
- Respond promptly and professionally to domestic student enquiries via phone, email, website, social media, and walk-ins
- Qualify leads by understanding student goals, eligibility, budget, and study plans
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries and student interactions within the CRM/system
Consultation & Course Guidance
- Provide clear information regarding courses, fees, entry requirements, funding options, and career pathways
- Conduct consultations via phone, Zoom, and face-to-face meetings
- Recommend suitable courses based on student needs and career goals
Conversion & Enrolment
- Follow up consistently with prospective students to maximise conversions
- Address student questions and objections professionally
- Guide students through the enrolment and onboarding process
- Assist with required documentation and payment processes
- Achieve monthly enrolment and lead conversion targets
Collaboration & Student Experience
- Work closely with marketing, admissions, and training teams
- Coordinate campus visits, interviews, and student information sessions
- Ensure a positive and seamless student experience from enquiry to enrolment
Administration & Reporting
- Monitor conversion performance and maintain accurate records
- Prepare reports on leads, enrolments, and pipeline activities
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures
Skills & Qualifications
✔ Previous experience in sales, admissions, student recruitment, or customer service
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Strong sales and lead conversion abilities
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets
✔ Strong organisational and time-management skills
✔ Experience using CRM systems preferred
✔ Knowledge of the domestic VET sector is highly desirable
✔ Positive attitude with a professional and student-focused approach
