Jewellery Sales Assistant – Casual or Full-Time

Elysium Jewellers is a family-owned and operated jewellery store in Busselton, and we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our friendly team.
We are looking for someone with a mature and professional approach, a genuine love of jewellery and a natural ability to connect with customers.
This position is available on a casual or full-time basis, depending on the right applicant. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who wants to become a long-term member of our team.
About the Role
As a Jewellery Sales Assistant, you will help our customers select beautiful pieces for special occasions, engagements, weddings, gifts and everyday wear.
You will also assist with custom jewellery and repair enquiries, maintain our jewellery displays and help with the day-to-day running of the store.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing friendly, professional and personalised customer service
- Assisting customers with jewellery, engagement rings, wedding bands, gifts and other purchases
- Building strong customer relationships and encouraging repeat business
- Handling customer enquiries, including repairs and custom jewellery
- Processing sales through our point-of-sale system
- Maintaining jewellery displays and stock presentation
- Assisting with stock control and general store duties
- Keeping the store beautifully presented and organised
About You
We would love to hear from you if you are:
- An experienced salesperson, preferably with retail or customer service experience
- Friendly, confident and comfortable talking with customers
- Well presented and professional
- Mature, reliable and trustworthy
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- A strong communicator with a genuine focus on customer service
- Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems
- Able to work both independently and as part of a small team
- Passionate about jewellery, diamonds and helping customers celebrate special occasions
- Looking for a stable, long-term position
Previous jewellery experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential. We are happy to provide jewellery-specific training to the right person who has strong sales and customer service experience.
