If you have kept your distance from peptide and hormone telehealth, read this first
Parts of this sector have earned a poor reputation, and the regulator has noticed. Regeniq is a compliance-first Australian men's telehealth clinic in regenerative and metabolic health, built to do this medicine the way it should be done: clinician-led, evidence-informed, operating fully within TGA and AHPRA rules, and building toward the VCP National Telehealth Standards. If compliance exposure is the reason you have avoided a role in this space, it is the reason we want to talk to you.
Why this role is different
Most clinics in this space lead with growth. We lead with governance, and ours is written down. Our policy and procedure manual covers clinical governance, incident management, emergency response and clinical escalation pathways, prescribing and electronic prescribing, documentation standards, and privacy and security. What we are still finalising is the clinical protocol layer and the appointment of our Lead Practitioner, who holds governance sign-off. We want a clinician who is comfortable prescribing within that framework and, ideally, interested in helping shape what remains. You are not inheriting a blank page, and you are not doing it alone.
The role
This is a prescribing and clinical review role, with the front-end work done before a patient reaches you. Our nurse practitioner provides clinical information, symptom and goal documentation, and initial screening, and orders baseline pathology for your review.
You conduct the initial consultation in real time, interpret the bloodwork, decide clinical eligibility, and make an independent prescribing decision within the clinic's formulary. You then own ongoing management: follow-up reviews, dose adjustments, monitoring, repeat pathology where indicated, discontinuation when treatment is no longer appropriate, and escalation when telehealth is not the right modality. Once you have consulted a patient in real time, established follow-ups may be conducted asynchronously within governance protocols.
Our patients are men aged 25 to 55+, across regenerative, metabolic and hormonal health, with a focus on compounded peptide and hormone therapy.
How the engagement works
- Independent contractor, your own ABN
- Fully remote, anywhere in Australia
- You choose your days, your hours, and your availability through our practice management system
- Hourly rate on a per-contract basis
- Minimal admin. Our nurse practitioner and operations team handle intake, identity verification, screening, baseline pathology, scheduling, results and patient communication, so patients reach you already worked up and your time goes to clinical decisions, not paperwork
- We are pre-launch and building the clinical team deliberately. Initial volume will be modest, and we scale when it is clinically sensible
Prescribing scope
Prescribing is via eRx, integrated into our practice management system, drawn from a defined formulary. What you prescribe is set by your clinical judgement and competence, never by commercial targets. If you are not comfortable with a compound, you flag it out of scope, and that is the end of it.
Founding clinician pathway
We are assembling a small foundational team, with scope to grow as we expand. For an exceptional candidate with an interest in clinical governance, there is scope for a deeper, long-term role in how the clinic is run and grows, including shaping the protocols and prescribing framework. This is discussed confidentially with shortlisted applicants and is not a requirement of the treating role. If you hold Fellowship of RACGP, FACRRM or RACMA and want a governance remit, mention it.
What you will need
- Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner, with no conditions, undertakings or reprimands
- Eligibility to prescribe Schedule 4 medications
- Confidence and competence prescribing compounded peptide therapy. This role centres on it, and it is not a place to learn from scratch
- A broad treating scope across metabolic, hormonal and regenerative health, with hands-on experience in compounded therapeutics
- Formal training in peptide or regenerative medicine prescribing, such as a MedBridge Global course or similar, preferred
- Professional indemnity insurance appropriate to scope
- Active ABN
- A private, distraction-free consulting environment suitable for telehealth
- Fellowship of RACGP, FACRRM or equivalent, preferred but not essential if otherwise demonstrably experienced in scope
