The Role:
We are seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and highly proactive Casual Retail Sales Assistant to help assist 1-4 days per week with potential for more hours as we grow and as we head into the Christmas trading period. This role is perfect for someone looking for local, stable hours who loves retail and community connection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers with a warm, friendly attitude.
- Managing point-of-sale transactions and basic daily reconciliations.
- Maintaining the visual presentation of the shop (restocking, dusting, keeping displays beautiful).
About You:
- A Self-Starter: You naturally notice what needs to be done (like tidying a shelf or updating a display) and do it without being asked.
- High Attention to Detail: You care about aesthetics, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Trustworthy & Punctual: Your word is your bond. You are reliable and value absolute honesty.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is highly regarded but the right attitude is our priority.
