We currently have vacancies for a multiskilled carpenters/remedial waterproofing technicion to join our team. Working throughout the Sydney metro and Central Coast region, you will use your broad skills to carry-out a variety of remedial work across multiple projects. This full time position is Monday to Friday (40hr week)
Example of some of the common works we carry out include (but not limited to) door and window and door replacements, demolition , cavity flashing repairs, leak detection, waterproofing, ceiling repairs, gyprock setting and plastering, painting, decks, tiling, bricklaying and other general carpentry. You will be required to work both independently and part of a team. Reporting to the project director, you will be running a site, or at other times working with team members Applicants shall be motivated and competent to work with a great team on a range of projects throughout the Greater Sydney and Central Coast area Area.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Ensuring jobs are completed to a high quality in an efficient manner
- Problem solving on the job
- Able to follow and interpret a scope of works
- Hands on approach
- Able to communicate clearly with clients
- Ensure safety is always a priority
- Ensure the job site is left clean and tidy
- Capable of supervising and instructing other staff
We will expect you to have:
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle
- White Card
- Trade qualification with relevant industry experience
- Strata, residential, commercial maintenance, remedial and construction experience preferred
- Experience in other trades preferred, e.g. tiling, painting, plastering
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to use phone for entering & updating information
- Strong work ethic
- Attention to detail
Pay: $52.00 – $56.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
