About the role
This role involves conducting advanced Clinical Neuropsychological assessments for patients with suspected brain injury or impairment in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The assessments support diagnosis, rehabilitation, and clinical decision-making. The position requires completing complex clinical duties independently while adhering to organisational goals, the professional practice standards of the Psychology Board of Australia, and the Australian Psychological Society Code of Ethics.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Independently apply high-level knowledge of evidence-based Clinical Neuropsychology principles and professional judgment to problems of significant scope within a complex and heavy caseload comprising patients with diverse medical and neurological presentations.
Work collaboratively and effectively within multidisciplinary teams by effectively integrating the Neuropsychology specific perspective to affect optimal health outcomes for consumers.
Participate in clinical and administrative meetings and liaison with hospital staff as required.
