POSITION SUMMARY
We are appointing a full-time, permanent Systems Administrator on a base package of $94,000 per annum plus statutory superannuation. The incoming specialist will take immediate charge of maintaining, upgrading, and securing our enterprise server frameworks, cloud environments, and internal technical setups to minimize downtime and optimize operational flow.
CORE TARGETS & DUTIES
- Daily administration, configuration, and monitoring of Windows and Linux server environments.
- Managing enterprise active directory setups, user permissions, and network access controls.
- Deploying regular security patches, system updates, and coordinating comprehensive data backup and recovery protocols.
- Troubleshooting complex infrastructure incidents, hardware faults, and network performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborating with technical teams to optimize internal storage arrays, virtualized environments, and cloud instances.
REQUIRED OPERATIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a dedicated corporate Systems Administrator role.
- Strong technical capability across virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V) and cloud services (AWS or Azure).
- Practical familiarity with networking principles, including routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
- Clear, concise technical documentation skills and a highly methodical approach to system testing and change management.
- Full, unrestricted legal working rights within Australia are mandatory for this Melbourne-based corporate office role.
