Big Event Picnic Tables is looking for a reliable and motivated team member to join our growing Sydney operation.
This is a hands-on role combining event logistics, warehouse operations, deliveries and onsite event setups across some of Australia’s biggest festivals, sporting events, food & wine festivals and brand activations.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in presentation and organisation, and wants to be part of a fast-paced events environment.

Big Event Picnic Tables is a family-run Australian business specialising in commercial-grade event furniture hire and large-scale outdoor event setups.
We work with major events and venues across Australia, helping create premium outdoor event spaces with picnic tables, market umbrellas, high bars, fencing and event infrastructure.
The Role
Your role will include a mix of:
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers
- Delivering event furniture and equipment
- Event setup and pack down work
- Warehouse organisation and stock preparation
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment
- Assisting with logistics and event operations
- Supporting major event builds and activations across NSW
No two weeks are the same — one day may be warehouse preparation, the next could be onsite at a major festival or sporting event.
About the Position
- Part-time position
- Average of 24 hours per week across a 4-week period
- Hours will vary depending on event schedules and seasonality
- Some weekend and evening work required
- Additional hours available during busy periods
- Opportunity to grow into a full-time role for the right person
What We’re Looking For
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment
- Driver’s licence required
- Trailer towing experience highly regarded
- Forklift licence advantageous (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in events, logistics, warehouse or labouring roles beneficial but not essential

Pay: $32.00 – $36.00 per hour
