About the Roles:
As a member of our Lifestyle team, you'll play an important role in creating meaningful experiences that support the physical, emotional, cognitive and social wellbeing of our residents.
Depending on your qualifications and experience, you may work as a Lifestyle Assistant supporting the delivery of activities and programs, or as a Lifestyle Companion taking a lead role in planning, implementing and evaluating lifestyle programs.
Responsibilities may include:
- Delivering engaging group and individual activities
- Building genuine connections with residents
- Encouraging participation and social engagement
- Supporting outings and community activities
- Assisting with or leading lifestyle program planning and delivery
- Maintaining documentation and resident records
- Working collaboratively with families, volunteers and the wider care team
About you:
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (mandatory for Lifestyle Companion roles)
- Experience in Aged Care, Community, or Health Services
- A valid Australian Driver’s Licence and confidence driving a 12-seater van
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A genuine person-centred approach to care
- Creativity and initiative in developing engaging activities
- Confidence working with individuals living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s (highly regarded)
- Ability to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations
Available roles:
- Lifestyle Companion - Part-Time (30 hours per week) Sunday to Wednesday | 10:00am – 6:00pm
- Multiple Casual Opportunities - Flexible availability across 7 days
