The opportunity
Council’s GIS System, ESRI, is used across a broad number of business units connecting invaluable data and map views to help support decision-making within their teams.
We’re seeking a Senior Spatial Services Administrator to join our Corporate Applications & Data team on a permanent full-time basis.
The Senior Spatial Services Administrator takes ownership of the GIS and spatial platforms, as well as being accountable for the strategy, roadmap, vendor relationships, and continuous improvements of the systems, workflows and user experience. Essentially, we’re seeking someone with a strong technical background who is able to invest time into how we could be utilising the system more efficiently.

- This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement
- Base Salary Range: $97,160 to $114,303 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $2,562 retention allowance
- You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace

- A tertiary qualification in GIS/LIS or related spatial discipline
- Extensive experience in spatial systems operations including spatial data management, maintenance, analysis and system administration
- Demonstrated experience as the product owner or equivalent for an enterprise application or platform, including roadmap development, stakeholder engagement and vendor management
