The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager, Investment Strategy, the Senior Investment Analyst - Office plays a pivotal role in shaping portfolio strategy through investment analysis, financial modelling and market insight. Working across a high-profile office portfolio, you will help evaluate asset performance, identify value creation opportunities and support key capital allocation decisions that influence the future direction of the portfolio.
Partnering closely with the Manager, Investment Strategy, and GM, Development Origination, you will develop the analytical frameworks, financial models and investment insights that underpin strategic recommendations. This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically strong analyst to deepen their real estate investment expertise while working alongside senior decision-makers shaping one of Australia's leading office portfolios.
You will make an impact by:
Investment analysis and modelling - Develop and maintain financial models, scenario analysis and forecasting to support investment strategy, asset optimisation and portfolio decision-making.-
Highest and best use (HBU) & development feasibility - Support development and HBU assessments through feasibility modelling, value creation analysis and strategic scenario testing.

Portfolio strategy support - Evaluate asset and portfolio performance, including buy, hold and sell analysis, return attribution and capital allocation opportunities.

Market intelligence & research - Analyse market trends, transaction activity and competitive dynamics to generate insights that inform investment recommendations.

Investment committee & stakeholder reporting - Prepare analysis and materials for Investment Committee papers, executive presentations and fund-facing reporting.

Data, reporting & analytics - Enhance reporting tools and dashboards that enable portfolio monitoring, scenario modelling and data-driven decision making.

Cross-functional collaboration - Partner with Investment Management, Development, Finance and Asset Management teams to deliver accurate, commercially relevant analysis and insights.
About You
You are a highly analytical property professional with experience in valuations, investment management or real estate analytics. Combining strong financial modelling capability with commercial judgement, you are able to translate complex data into clear investment insights and recommendations.
Detail-oriented and intellectually curious, you enjoy solving complex problems, challenging assumptions and influencing decisions through evidence-based analysis. You bring advanced Excel and modelling skills, a strong understanding of property markets, and a passion for helping shape portfolio strategy and performance.
You will bring:

Tertiary qualification in Property, Land Economics, Real Estate, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline.

Experience within valuations, investment management, real estate analytics, development, capital transactions or a related analytical discipline.

Strong financial modelling, feasibility and investment analysis capability, with advanced Excel skills.

Experience with property modelling platforms such as Forbury, Argus or Estate Master is highly regarded.

Knowledge of property markets, valuation methodologies and investment decision-making frameworks.

Strong analytical capability, with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, commercially relevant insights and recommendations.

Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in real estate investment and portfolio strategy.
