Teacher - Accounting & Finance
Are you an Accounting and Finance industry expert who is passionate about sharing real-world knowledge and shaping the next generation of accounting and finance professionals? TAFE Queensland is seeking an experienced and motivated Accounting and Finance professional to join our teaching team on a casual basis.
You will deliver engaging, industry-aligned training that equips students with practical skills and knowledge for careers in accounting, bookkeeping and financial services. Delivery will take place at our state-of-the-art Robina campus, as well as through flexible online work-from-home delivery, supporting a positive work-life balance.

About You
We are seeking a highly capable industry professional with a genuine desire to give back through education. To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (FNS40222) or equivalent/higher qualification
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent, or approved higher Adult Training and Assessment qualification
Demonstrated current industry experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial services in Australia
Strong knowledge and proficiency of contemporary accounting systems and software
Proven ability to develop and deliver training, assess student work and support competency development
A strong commitment to driving student achievement and real-world outcomes in accounting and finance, with the ability to engage, support and motivate learners towards successful study and employment outcomes
A collaborative, team-oriented approach and the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, students and industry stakeholders
