About the Role
We’re seeking 2 reliable HR Truck Drivers to perform house moves and furniture deliveries across Melbourne (with 1 role based in Brisbane after relocation). You’ll drive company or contractor trucks, load/unload goods safely, and ensure on-time deliveries while representing our brand professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive HR trucks for residential house moves and furniture deliveries across Melbourne metro (West suburbs preferred) and Brisbane.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload household goods and furniture safely.
- Follow delivery schedules, route plans, and contractor instructions.
- Perform basic pre-trip vehicle checks and report defects or maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, proof of delivery, and incident reports.
- Comply with road safety, company policies, and customer service standards.
Requirements
- Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) truck licence with clean driving record.
- Proven experience in furniture removals, house moves, or similar delivery work.
- Based in Melbourne’s West (Truganina, Tarneit, Hoppers Crossing) – strongly preferred for Melbourne role.
- Willingness to relocate from Melbourne to Brisbane for 1 position.
- Physically fit, safety-conscious, and customer-focused.
- Ability to work 5–6 days/week as rostered.
Pay & Conditions
- 5 or 6 days/week
- 29% commission on all deliveries + $35/hour when needed (e.g., waiting time, extra duties).
- Rates align with industry standards for HR drivers in removals/logistics.
