Job Description :Business Analyst - The Business Analyst – Data & Integration Readiness is accountable for ensuring that business data requirements, end to end data flows, and integration data constructs supporting the Blue Yonder TMS Middle Mile (MM) solution is clearly defined, governed, and aligned to enterprise and Blue Yonder data standards. The role ensures data readiness across design, testing, and cutover, acting as a critical bridge between logistics business processes, enterprise data governance, and technical integration delivery. Roles and Responsibilities :Business Data & Data Flow Analysis
- Analyse and document end to end business data flows across Middle Mile logistics processes, including shipment creation, execution, status events, costs, exceptions, and completion.
- Identify and validate source systems, data producers, consumers, and authoritative systems of record for MM related data.
- Define logical and physical data flows across upstream, Blue Yonder TMS, and downstream systems with explicit hand offs and ownership.
- Ensure alignment between business scenarios and the corresponding data events and transactions flowing through integrations.
Source Data & Data Readiness
- Analyse source data structures, availability, and constraints for systems contributing data to the MM implementation.
- Support data profiling activities by defining business rules, thresholds, and data quality expectations.
- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or quality risks impacting integration, testing, or cutover, and document remediation recommendations.
- Validate assumptions around data timeliness, completeness, and frequency from a business and operational perspective.
Enterprise Grade Data Standards & Guardrails
- Define and maintain enterprise grade data artefacts, including:
o Business Data Glossary – agreed business definitions for MM relevant data elements
o Data Dictionary – logical and physical attributes, formats, domains, validation rules
