About the Role
LS Mechanical & Crash Pty Ltd is looking for a hardworking and reliable Motor Vehicle Parts and Accessories Fitter (General) to join our automotive team in Allenby Gardens, South Australia.
The successful candidate will install and fit different vehicle parts and accessories while ensuring all work is completed safely and correctly.
Sponsorship opportunities may be available for suitable candidates depending on eligibility and business needs.
Job Duties
- Install and replace vehicle parts and accessories.
- Fit accessories such as:
- Bull bars
- Tow bars
- Roof racks
- Audio systems
- Vehicle lights
- Safety equipment
- Interior and exterior accessories
- Read and understand fitting instructions and documents provided with accessories before installation.
- Check and inspect fitted parts to ensure proper operation.
- Follow workplace safety rules and company procedures.
- Use workshop tools and equipment correctly.
- Keep the work area clean and safe.
- Complete job reports and required paperwork.
Skills and Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A relevant Certificate II qualification or higher, or equivalent experience.
OR
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
Additional Requirement
- Applicants must be able to read and understand instructions, manuals, and documents provided with accessories to ensure proper fitting and installation.
