In this role, you'll:
You will be responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of large and complex contracts across their full lifecycle, from early input into category planning and sourcing through to negotiation, execution, and ongoing commercial management.
You will work collaboratively with sourcing managers, procurement teams, and Customer Technology stakeholders to ensure contracts are aligned with business priorities and deliver clear value‑for‑money outcomes.
Acting as a trusted business partner and advisor, you will provide expert guidance on commercial strategy, contract risk allocation, probity, and governance to support informed decision‑making.
You will lead complex contract negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and proactively identify and resolve contractual issues and disputes to protect organisational interests.

About you
You bring significant experience in commercial and procurement practices, legislation and activities within a public sector organisation, and demonstrable ability to manage procurement activity from conception to completion.
You possess well developed commercial procurement planning and analysis skills, with the ability to drive strategic direction across your portfolio.
