Coastal Dental Care Robina Village has been caring for the Robina community since 1988, working out of five dental surgeries in Robina Shopping Village. We're also part of a bigger family: an 18-practice, dentist-owned network across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW, with 300+ team members across general, holistic and specialty care. We're after a Dental Assistant to join our Robina Village team full-time. The roster runs Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:30am to 5:15pm (6:15pm on Thursdays), with a 30-minute break each day, 38 hours a week. Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays are yours. You'll split your time between chairside support and sterilisation, with reception backup when the front desk needs an extra hand, across a mix of general and cosmetic dentistry including Invisalign.
- Assisting chairside: passing instruments, using suction, and taking digital X-rays
- Preparing instruments and materials for each patient's treatment
- Following our infection control protocols, including cleaning, sterilising and storing instruments, and keeping sterilisation records
- Setting up and packing down treatment rooms and the sterilisation room each day
- Welcoming and settling patients, and answering their questions where you can
- Helping out on reception when the team needs an extra hand
- At least 1 year's experience as a Dental Assistant
- Confident with infection control protocols and a current first aid certificate (or willing to update it)
- Up to date immunisations
- Professional presentation and a genuine team player
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (highly regarded)
- Experience assisting with Invisalign or cosmetic treatments (highly regarded)
- Some reception experience
- Four fixed days a week, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with Tuesdays and every weekend to yourself
