ESSF is a structural steel fabrication company based in Botany, Sydney. We're expanding our operations and are looking for an experienced Structural Steel Draftsman to lead our drafting team.
Your responsabilities:
- Produce 3D models and shop drawings using TEKLA Structures and/or Autodesk Advance Steel.
- Prepare fabrication and construction documentation, including plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings.
- Review project requirements, specifications and engineering documentation to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
- Attend site visits and take accurate measurements when required.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant Australian Standards, building codes and project specifications.
- Liaise with engineers, project managers, workshop team and clients to resolve technical issues and support project delivery.
You must have:
- At least 5 years’ experience in structural steel drafting.
- Strong proficiency in TEKLA Structures and/or Autodesk Advance Steel.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and construction processes.
- Proficient English level, written and verbal.
- A White Card and Driver Licence.

Pay: $40.00 – $60.00 per hour
