Are you a payroll professional with a passion for accuracy and a heart for service? Eldercare is seeking a detail-driven, tech-savvy Payroll Officer to join our vibrant Head Office team. Type: Part Time – 0.7FTE with flexible working arrangements. The 0.7 FTE may be worked across 3, 4 or 5 days per week, depending on the successful candidate's preferences and operational requirements.
Remuneration: $80,000-$90,000 FTE (pro rata: $56,000-$63,000 for 0.7 FTE) commensurate with skills and experience + salary sacrifice + super

About the Role
As our Payroll Officer, you’ll play a key role in delivering seamless payroll services across the organisation:
- Process fortnightly payroll using Aurion Payroll and Humanforce Rostering
- Accurately calculate and pay wages, leave, terminations, Workers Compensation, and more
- Maintain confidential employee data and ensure compliance with internal procedures
- Handle payroll queries with professionalism and empathy
- Assist with end-of-year processes, audits, and reporting
- Support staff and managers with payroll policies and training
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll functions
- Proven expertise in payroll systems (Aurion preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to working effectively as part of a team
