About the Role:
As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be pivotal in overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of our Rehabilitation Unit. You will lead by example, championing patient-centred care and ensuring the delivery of outstanding clinical outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing strong clinical leadership and management for all nursing and support staff within the rehabilitation unit.

Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation programs that promote optimal patient independence and recovery.

Recruiting, developing, and rostering staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.

Managing unit resources, including budget oversight, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards, clinical governance frameworks, and Ramsay Health Care policies.

Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and medical specialists.

Implementing and monitoring quality improvement initiatives to continuously enhance patient care and safety.

Acting as a role model for professional practice and clinical excellence.
About You:
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who possesses:

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Extensive clinical experience in rehabilitation nursing, with demonstrated leadership or management experience.

Post-graduate qualifications in nursing management, rehabilitation, or a related field (highly desirable).

A comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation principles, care pathways, and funding models.

Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a nursing team.
