National Disability Care (NDC) is looking for a friendly, reliable female Disability Support Worker to provide community-based support for a participant in Jindabyne.
This is a one-off casual role, providing approximately two shifts of 3-4 hours each between 15 July and 17 July 2026. Exact days and times will be confirmed with the successful applicant and participant.
The role will involve:
- Providing community access support.
- Transporting the participant and her daughter using your own reliable vehicle.
- Preparing a simple gluten-free meal if required.
- Providing light personal support where needed.
- Supporting the participant to safely access the community while promoting independence.
The participant has limited mobility due to multiple health conditions, including a psychosocial disability, and will also have her small, friendly dog with her during the service. Applicants must be comfortable around dogs and understand the importance of preparing gluten-free meals safely.
We're looking for someone who is calm, patient, reliable and confident driving in the Jindabyne area. Experience supporting people with physical disabilities and psychosocial disabilities is highly regarded.
Essential requirements:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current Driver Licence
- Reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Right to work in Australia
