The Immunology Division is a statewide reference service, providing comprehensive immunology testing and expert consultative support to clinicians across Queensland. Your expertise will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, timely and cost-effective diagnostic services that assist in the diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with complex immunological conditions.

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under 'your key responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated ability to apply advanced scientific judgement in immunology.
Demonstrated ability to provide scientific services of a complex nature to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards and established principles/procedures.
Demonstrated high level of knowledge, expertise and skill in the management of immunology in line with strategic direction.
Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and evaluate improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to supervise staff to ensure maintenance of professional clinical standards.
Demonstrated excellent communication and negotiation skills with staff at all levels in a large organisation and the ability to provide complex advice to laboratory staff and clients on a broad range of issue pertaining to immunology.
