We're looking for a passionate Casual Demi Chef to join our growing kitchen team.

About the Role
Working alongside our Head Chef and kitchen team, you'll assist in delivering exceptional lunch service and special events while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, consistency and presentation.
This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their culinary career in a creative, quality-focused environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Assist with mise en place and service preparation.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient workstation.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Help minimise waste and maintain stock rotation.
- Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to menu development and seasonal specials.
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef, Demi Chef or experienced Cook in a quality kitchen.
- A genuine passion for seasonal Tasmanian produce.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy services.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Relevant cookery qualification (or currently studying) is highly regarded.
