Position Title: Winery & Farm Electrician
Salary: $85,000-100,000pa
Location: Waikerie, South Australia
Freestone Estate is seeking a skilled Electrician to support our winery and farm operations. This is a hands-on role working across production, irrigation, and site infrastructure, ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently—especially during vintage.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems across the winery and farm, including pumps, motors, refrigeration, and irrigation. The role involves fault finding, preventative maintenance, and supporting production during key periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair winery and farm electrical systems
- Diagnose faults and respond to breakdowns
- Support winemaking operations during vintage
- Maintain irrigation and water infrastructure systems
- Complete preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Assist with installs, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards
About You
- A-Class Electrical Licence (SA)
- Experience in industrial, winery, or agricultural environments
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience with pumps, motors, and control systems
- Reliable, hands-on, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
