As our Studio Assistant, you’ll play an important role in keeping our creative studio organised, efficient and ready for production every day.
IN A NUTSHELL
We are a family-owned kitchenware business, headquartered in Perth but with stores and team members Australia-wide. Our sales are split 50/50 between our online store and our 30 bricks and mortar stores. We are passionate about cooking and entertaining and put a lot of thought and effort into the production and sourcing of the products we sell.
Beautiful product imagery for use on our website, in our emails and in other marketing channels is key to communicating what our business offers to our customers. That’s why we’re seeking a Studio Assistant to support our growing In house product range to ensure our customers have a world-class experience when they shop with us online.
This is a hands-on entry level role that would suit someone who loves our products, enjoys working as part of a team and isn’t afraid to get involved. From preparing products for photography, washing dishes after recipe shoots and organising samples, through to supporting photoshoots and maintaining spreadsheets, you’ll help ensure our studio operates smoothly while learning how content is created for Kitchen Warehouse.
This role is ideal for someone with previous Kitchen Warehouse or retail experience who is looking to develop a career in Marketing, Ecommerce or Creative Production.
This role regularly requires travel to nearby Kitchen Warehouse stores and other business locations to collect and return products, props and equipment for photography and video shoots. A current Australian Driver’s Licence is therefore essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
1. Studio Preparation & Organisation
- Prepare products and props ready for photography and video shoots.
- Wash, clean and present cookware, crockery and kitchenware to studio standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and production-ready studio, kitchen and storage areas.
- Organise shelves, props, samples and equipment.
- Assist with packing away products following shoots.
2. Product & Sample Management
- Receive, unpack and organise new products arriving in the studio.
- Maintain accurate sample storage and product locations.
- Assist with product pick-ups, returns and transfers between the studio, warehouse and stores.
- Monitor sample levels and advise when replacements are required.
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge across the Kitchen Warehouse range.
3. Production Support
- Assist photographers, stylists and content creators during photography and video shoots.
- Prepare products and equipment for filming and photography.
- Support shoot set-up, pack-down and general logistics.
- Assist with basic content preparation and administration as required.
4. Administration
- Maintain production spreadsheets and sample tracking documents.
- Assist with filing creative assets and maintaining studio records.
- Complete general administrative tasks to support the Marketing & Studio team.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory accuracy within the studio.
5. General Support
- Take ownership of keeping the studio running efficiently.
- Assist across the Marketing team during busy periods.
- Complete ad hoc duties that contribute to the smooth operation of the creative studio.
