About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to deliver high quality evidence based Social Work clinical services in the treatment of consumers with complex mental health issues, their families, carers, and relevant stakeholders, in an inpatient Crisis Stabilisation Unit (CSU) under a Short Stay Pathway (SSP).
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Deliver competent Social Work clinical services in line with Australian Association of Social Work (AASW) Professional Practice Standards and Code of Ethics, Metro North Allied Health Clinical Capability Framework and Metro North Health values, including comprehensive biopsychosocial, mental state and risk assessments, formulation, and brief evidence-based interventions within recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care.
Actively participate in the multidisciplinary team by providing discipline specific clinical advice and collaboration on the design of an integrated recovery strategy and care plan for SSP consumers, contributing evidence-based brief therapeutic interventions and approaches.
Participate in the identification, development and implementation of clinical practices, procedures and protocols and other quality and service improvement and research activities that enhance the delivery of Social Work services within the Mental Health Short Stay setting.
