We are seeking a candidate to join our Mercer Financial Advice team at Mercer in the Team Leader – Intra fund Financial Advice role. This role will be based in Melbourne or Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Team Leader Intra- fund Financial Advice
Mercer Financial Advice provides simple advice via phone to super fund members, as well as comprehensive advice to people with more complex and ongoing financial needs. The team supports Mercer’s private clients, together with Mercer’s corporate, industry and public sector client base, and members of Mercer Super. In this role, you will lead a team focused on quality advice, client outcomes and service delivery.
We will count on you to:
Lead a team of financial advisers and support staff to deliver client, service and performance outcomes
Set clear goals and KPI measures, including call volumes, advice engagements and scorecard outcomes
Coach, mentor and develop team members to build capability, support performance and encourage career progression
Oversee day-to-day operations, resource allocation, reporting standards and SOA turnaround times
Maintain high advice quality through call listening, peer review, oversight and compliance with advice standards
Build effective relationships with trustees, stakeholders and referral sources to support service delivery and business growth
What you need to have:
Demonstrated leadership experience in a financial advice environment
Well-developed coaching and mentoring capability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with technical proficiency in financial advice
