Rotating roster which will include weekend work and starts from 7am or finishing as late as 10pm. Part Time position - minimum 24 hours rostered weekly.
Daily tasks and responsibilities:

Provides and ensures prompt and courteous member service.

Maintains current product knowledge of bakery items.

Moves product filled oven racks. Un-trays product from baking pans onto packaging. Garnishes baked goods according to item requirements; stacks used baking pans on pan dollies.

Scales finished product and records on weight verification sheets.

Packages and wraps baked goods by hand or wrapping machine according to merchandise manual.

Uses racks or carts to move or stock wrapped product onto tables and pallets. Responsible to maintain date rotation and merchandising presentation throughout the day.

Assists with other bakery duties as needed.

Follows Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position.

Completes and complies with Costco policies of Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification and all Safety training required by warehouse and department.

Requirements:

Must be available to work early mornings, late shifts and potentially overnights.

Capability to lift up to 25kg - You will be required to conduct a physical manual handling assessment
