REVOLVE | Site Leader / ForepersonBrisbane | Residential Construction
At REVOLVE, we're not looking for another carpenter. We're looking for a Site Leader. Someone who can run sites, lead people, solve problems early, communicate proactively and help us build a better business. We're a growing Brisbane-based construction business focused on delivering a professional experience for our clients and creating a business we're proud of. Over the last few year's we've invested heavily in systems, lead generation, quoting, client communication and business improvement. We're beginning to see the results of that work. Our next challenge is building the operational leadership layer beneath the founders. That's where this role comes in. The Opportunity You'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of assigned sites and work closely with our Sales & Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and professionally. You'll still work on the tools. But this is not a carpenter-only role. This is a leadership role.
The right person will be trusted to:
- Lead carpenters, apprentices and labourers.
- Coordinate subcontractors.
- Maintain site safety and quality.
- Plan ahead and keep projects moving.
- Identify issues early.
- Communicate proactively.
- Create clarity and direction on site.
Our philosophy is simple: The Site Leader owns the site. The Sales & Project Manager owns the client.
Responsibilities
- Run assigned sites with minimal day-to-day supervision.
- Lead site teams and subcontractors.
- Coordinate labour, materials and workflow.
- Maintain safe, organised and productive sites.
- Conduct daily pre-starts and site safety activities.
- Identify and communicate issues, risks and delays early.
- Order materials within delegated authority.
- Maintain quality standards.
- Support apprentice development.
- Contribute practical carpentry work where required.
- Ensure site progress aligns with project targets.
What We're Looking For - We're less interested in the longest résumé. We're more interested in the right person. The ideal candidate is:
- Reliable.
- Organised.
- A strong communicator.
- Calm under pressure.
- Proactive.
- Solutions focused.
- Respected by others.
- Comfortable making decisions.
- Able to lead by example.
You should be capable of running a site without needing constant direction. You don't need to know everything. But you do need to take ownership. What Will Make You Stand Out
- Experience leading residential construction projects.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to identify issues before they become problems.
- Good understanding of safety requirements.
- Experience leading apprentices and team members.
- Excellent communication.
What Success Looks Like
- Sites operate efficiently and professionally.
- Team members know exactly what is expected.
- Issues are identified early and communicated clearly.
- Quality remains high.
- Clients have a great experience.
- Projects continue moving forward.
- The founders spend less time solving day-to-day site issues and more time improving the business.

A Final Word. This role is not for someone looking to simply turn up and be told what to do. It's for someone who wants to take ownership, lead people, help build a great business and play a meaningful role in REVOLVE's next stage of growth. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
